Author note: After The Rain is part of an incomplete series in The Reawakening. This is book two, which was unfortunately never finished. However, due to the cliffhanger of the first book, I felt compelled to give my people the history of who The Shadow Man was before he became just a void. This short, compelling story is just that. While it ends abruptly, it might give you the closure you need.
